Ahn Hyunhee Law Office (the "Office") provides its website, booking and consultation services through the Laney service. These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Office and users.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Office and users when using the Office's website, booking and consultation services (the "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. Service: all digital services provided by the Office, including the website, booking system, chatbot consultation and message delivery.
2. User: anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.

Article 3 (Effect and changes)

1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Service.
2. The Office may amend these Terms within the limits of the law and will announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect.

Article 4 (The Service)

The Office provides information on its practice areas, inquiry intake, consultation booking and chat consultation. Information on the website and in chat is general; legal advice on an individual matter is given in a consultation with the attorney.

Article 5 (Hours)

The website and inquiry intake are available all year. Consultations take place at the booked time, and inquiries are reviewed and answered during office hours.

Article 6 (User obligations)

Users must not:

1. use another person's information or register false information;
2. deliberately disrupt the operation of the Service;
3. damage the Office's reputation or obstruct its work;
4. violate applicable laws or these Terms.

Article 7 (Bookings and cancellations)

To change or cancel a consultation, please let us know before the booked time by phone (1577-0448) or through the booking channel.

Article 8 (Privacy)

The Office protects users' personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws, as detailed in the Privacy Policy (/privacy). Consultations are protected by the attorney's duty of confidentiality under the Attorney-at-Law Act.

Article 9 (Messages)

Messages needed to use the Service, such as booking confirmations and schedule notices, may be sent without separate consent; promotional messages are sent only with consent.

Article 10 (Limitation of liability)

1. The Office is not liable where it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters, power outages or network failures.
2. Matters concerning engagement and legal services are governed by the Attorney-at-Law Act, related laws and the individual engagement agreement.

Article 11 (Disputes)

Disputes concerning these Terms are subject to the court with jurisdiction over the Office's location as the court of first instance.
